I loved this book! I haven't read anything by Celeste before, but as soon as I finished it, I popped right onto the site and downloaded Jungle Fever, #2 in the series. Jesse - the hero - was really amazing. In spite of all the torture he endured as a science experiment for the government, he still stayed strong. Erin - the heroine - was just a sweet human working in the lab. She thought werewolves like Jesse were just animals, because the lab assured her that was the truth and she believed them.Jesse has a cajun accent - so sexy! Even when he feels utterly betrayed by Erin for her part in his suffering, he still has feelings for her that he can't deny.
The story was enthralling and I couldn't put it down once I picked it up.
The only thing keeping me from giving this book 5 stars is some grammatical issues and a lack of depth. It was very clean for the most part, but there were definite issues including calling the heroine "Eric", which is a pretty serious thing in my book. I felt as thought Celeste could have given more depth to the scenario itself and the characters, she glossed over many things including how wolves managed to stay incognito in the human world, how the government captured them, and what their plans for the captives were and that would have helped to give the book more depth. Otherwise, it was compelling and hot and I'll be reading more of her books.

Lycan, Jesse Stone, has been captured by a crazed bunch of scientists and is destined to be their experiment. What Jesse doesn’t realize is that the scientists have observed him watching the woman who brings his food. When they catch Jesse eyeing the woman’s body, they know they have discovered his weakness.
Erin Maddox is appalled to learn that the scientists she works for want her to have sexual relations with Jesse Stone in order to extract his sperm. When Erin adamantly refuses, she is injected with a solution that makes her immediately, and agonizingly, aroused. There is now only one way to stop the pain that impacts her entire body and she allows herself to be let into Jesse’s holding cell.
The one woman Jesse has been longing for is unbearably aroused and in his cell. Unable to stop himself, Jesse draws Erin into an animalistic, passionate embrace. After their ardent mating session comes to an end, Erin is torn from Jesse’s side and he is fed vicious lies. Jesse vows, with every cell in his body, to exact revenge when he is free.
Wolfen Domination by Celeste Anwar was one of the darkest books I have read in a long time. The characters had to fight so hard to come to grips with their feelings for each other that when they finally admitted to caring, I was left emotionally drained. Jesse had to redeem himself in my eyes because of the way he treated Erin when she helped him escape. Lucky for him, he came through with flying colors. As for Erin, I thought her quite brave, especially when surrounded by a pack of howling wolves.
Wolfen Domination was the first book I have ever read by Celeste Anwar and I can say without a doubt that it won’t be the last. I’m going to be scouring Ms. Anwar’s backlist to see what else she has to offer. Wolfen Domination kept me on the edge of my seat and I am sure that readers who are fans of fast-paced, action werewolf tales will enjoy it as well.

This book was great. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. have a weakness for paranormal romance that has pregnancy and babies in it!
This story was different from what usually read but it was really good. I think I should try to read more fantasy books & more books by Celeste.
celeste Anwar is truly a great fantasy writer. that will take you on a fantasy adventure of excitement and love.
It was a good effort, I think i just wanted a little more depth and insight to the H &H. I started to get into Jesse, but really never connected with Erin. My favorite character was actually the evil one, the author did a great job with her. The author also was brave on writing in a Bayou accent. It was different, but worked. On the steamy scale it was okay, but not thigh clenching. Overall everthing felt a bit rushed and I guess I was just hoping for more. Especially for the price and length. I probably won't buy the next book in this series, but I will try another book by this author.
